Short Codes

Text message marketing utilizes short codes. These are similar to 800 numbers but work in conjunction with text messaging. A short code enables two-way messaging between the sender and recipient. The VictoryText short code is 41513 and is supported by all major carriers (over 90% of all cell phones in the USA). Sending Messages

Creating interactive text messages (SMS) is simple. Using our Admin Web (log in here) system you are able to compose text messages, select the recipients from your list of names in your database and send messages to them instantly or at a scheduled time. It is important to note that text messaging is very personal and allows timely delivery; therefore campaigns need to be well-planned and offer value. In other words, if people receiving your messages feel like they waste their time, they will quickly text back 'STOP' and permanently remove themselves from your list.

MMS WAP Push

The VictoryText system offers Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS, which is a telecommunications standard for sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text). MMS is an extension of the SMS standard, allowing longer message lengths and using WAP to display the content. Its most popular use is sending photographs from camera-equipped handsets, although it is popular as a method of delivering ringtones as well.

Advanced Features
